A Cocoon for your Traveling Instrument
I create custom bags for musical instruments.
You know the problem. You are flying somewhere. You need your axe. You need your stuff. You have to pack a suitcase and an instrument. You're forced to check something. You don't want to check your instrument. You don't want to carry an extra bag.
I solved the problem by making a case for my case...a Cocoon.
The Cocoon is a bag for your bag. It is bigger than your instrument case, creating double the amount of space so you can pack your stuff with your instrument.
My first Cocoon was for my Emerald X7, a smart little carbon fiber traveler. With my Cocoon, I was able to pack 1 week's worth of clothing for a trip to Europe. No one hassled me about the bag. I saved about $150 on checked bag fees.

My second Cocoon is for a Taylor GS Mini, a mahogany beauty with a huge sound. This Cocoon will hold an extra 2600 cubic inches of stuff. I'll keep you posted as I create it.
All Cocoons are made from re-purposed materials purchased at the Idyllwild Help Center, a thrift store which helps the needy in my community by providing food, wood for heat, and other great stuff. If you look closely, you may recognize the pocket from a pair of jeans, sleeve details from a leather jacket, the zipper from a cross-country ski bag, lace and linings from a fancy negligee. Pieces are hand-embellished with beads, metallic stitching or other items to make the piece unique.
